Annette Funicello measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Annette Funicello had just turned 13 when Walt Disney, the studio's director of production, spotted her performing in the Fullerton California amateur Swan Lake. Funicello's Mickey Mouse Club teammates were in a state of dismay at the time Funicello was added to her group later in season one of the show and without being required to audition. Disney's instincts were correct, and Funicello was soon the most loved Mickey Mouse Club performer. The show's own storyline Adventures in Dairyland also featured her. Funicello had to record records as she wanted to reach her full potential as a teenager star. Annette didn't like her voice, but Disney used Tutti Kamerata to help her build an impressive career in the recording business. Funicello ultimately got comfortable with making records and genuinely liked being a part of Camerata one of the few 40-something arrangers who had the fundamental elements of the early rock music. The albums she released gradually got better, beginning with her third album, Annette Sings Anka, probably the first LP to consider the writing of a rock singer as an actual repertoire. Funicello appeared alongside Frankie Avalon in Beach Party. This was the first in a sequence of beach parties films that were hugely popular. The scripts for each of these films were given a personal read-through and approval by Walt Disney so as to protect Annette's image. Funicello's vehicles for film were utilized to make other artists break. Stevie Wonder was in Muscle Beach Party.
