Music was a non-feminine place to be in as such, and therefore embracing this degree of femininity was an interesting and challenging experience for me. For me, it was extremely difficult to admit, "Okay I can be confident, feminine, and gentle. Be careful of your appearance and do not let me down." It's been a pleasure somewhat, I've been enjoying wearing heels and a dress everyday and sporting these beautiful curls and soft fabric. It was a bit of pressure since I'm an older actor than everyone else who appeared in Fantastic Beasts. When I was auditioning for the role, I got this weird feeling that there was this huge force in front of me. It was either I'd crumble beneath the weight of it and fall since I was so desperate to do it. It was also possible to get forward and let it move me forward. I could spend the whole day wandering around, visiting museums in parks, coffee shops and even the parks and just observing people. London is a place where it is a place where you can be surrounded by other people. In LA it's not always a crowded however, you're between everything. I love watching individuals. As a person who is from music, I'm constantly in awe with males. The feeling of having a conversation with guys can be intimate. The books were a wish fulfilled for me. It was a pleasure having the opportunity to study the book while touring. The cities are constantly shifting which makes it difficult to stay focused. To be able to disappear in such a vibrant visual universe inside the comfort of your bed is truly amazing. Alison Alison Alison
